John first learned to sail a sabot at the age five in Honolulu, Hawaii. That was the start of his personal interest and passion for sailing. And since then he has owned several sailboats, including a classic Norwegian Sloop, named Oslo 1.
John later sailed competitively in Newport Harbor. He has raced along the California Coast and around Catalina Island, and has competed several times in the Newport to Ensenada Race.
Today John is the proud owner of a Classic 1941 Chris-Craft Barrel-back Deluxe Runabout, Miss Fallen Leaf. She is a Concours d’Elegance and an International Antique and Classic Boat Society Award Winner.
John’s primary focus is marketing Classic Wooden Boats within the continental United States. He is dedicated to preserving these historical classic boats.
So if you are, or someone you know is, interested in buying or selling a classic wooden boat, contact John.
“Just ask a man who owns one.”
